As a church FOR the community, we are committed to serving our community. We believe that God has geographically placed us in the community He wants us to serve. We are continually looking for ways to enhance our community and serve the needs of our community. Our desire is to serve our community in such a way that true appreciation is given to God through what we do: “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Further, we desire to show the love of Jesus Christ to all people. A few of the community organizations we support are listed below:
- American Cancer Society (Relay for Life)
- Embrace Teachers (Peoria School District)
- Boy Scouts of America – Meets on the third Tuesday of each month
- Father’s House – Caring for the poor
- Andre’s House – Caring for the poor
- Overflow Shelter – Caring for the poor
- Prevail – Helping families dealing with cancer
- Alcoholics Anonymous - Meets at New Life on Monday nights
- Home Owners Association – Meets on the first Thursday of the month
- Foster care - Helping families through foster care
- Autism Support - Offering support for those afflicted with Autism
