At New Life, we acknowledge the driving force behind great ministry is the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). We further acknowledge the missions strategy as stated by Jesus Himself in Acts 1:8 as an important part of how we seek to accomplish our part in the Great Commission.
New Life’s approach to strategically reach out and into the world with the saving message of Jesus Christ is to accomplish ministry on three levels - near, mid and far. Our “near reach” represents those people living within a reachable distance of New Life and the communities in which our people live. Our “mid reach” is represented by Latin America (Mexico &
Honduras). As for the “far reach",
India is our focus.
In order to accomplish greater ministry in the areas we believe God has called us to reach and to use our resources to the best of our ability, we have adopted a “rifle approach” that accompanies our near, mid and far reach strategy. In other words, instead of spreading our resources out over a broad number of areas (shotgun approach), we believe that we can accomplish more by focusing our resources in specific areas; thus, making a greater impact in those areas we feel called to by God.
