Honduran Mission Activities

Three New Life Community Church missionaries are currently serving at Rancho Ebenezer just outside of the capital city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  They are associated with World Gospel Outreach.

 Schultz FamilySchultz Family

Eric & Kymm Schultz (and their five children) originally went to Rancho Ebenezer to assume pastoral responsibilities. Their roles have changed and grown.

Eric recently accepted the Children’s Services Director position for the ranch.
Kymm now oversees the logistics of the visiting construction teams and coordinates the annual summer intern program.
Please visit their website for more information.
Ron Langejans

Ron Langejans spent his first year on the ranch as a teacher.  But like Eric and Kymm, his role has grown. Ron now serves as the Ranch Manager.

Honduras Advocate Team (HAT)
HAT functions as the local support group for Eric & Kymm Schultz and Ron Langejans while they are on mission in Honduras.  This includes a monthly prayer team; supplemental financial support through the distribution of Fry’s Food cards and selling Cloud Forest coffee; assisting the missionaries while they are on furloughs; providing communication updates through the NLCC’s web site; and coordinating the annual Rancho Ebenezer mission teams.

About World Gospel Outreach and Rancho Ebenezer:
Rancho Ebenezer’s primary function is to provide a place for at-risk children (orphaned or abandoned) to experience God’s plan for a Christian family.  These children live with house parents from Honduras, North America, and around the world who have been specially selected for their Christian values and their experience in raising a family.
The opportunity to live in a loving family atmosphere, modeled by their foster care family, provides a foundation on which to build their own family structure as they reach adulthood. Along with this, Rancho Ebenezer provides a place for their academic studies with its own bilingual elementary school.
NOTE: The Ranch has a need for more house parents. It is critical that the right house parents are sought out and recruited, and the application process can be rather lengthy.  For more information click here.
