Community Connection
At New Life Community Church, we want to be in community with each other, but even more, we want to be servants in our greater, surrounding community. We will always encourage you to be involved in strategic ways outside the walls of our church community. This week:
-Kids need homes. Come and find out how you can show God's love to children in foster care and and those who need permanent homes on Tuesday, July 14 at 6:30 PM in the KidZone area. Call Tracie Sterrett at 623.977.2668 with any questions.
-There will be a community blood drive on Saturday, July 18th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. During the summer months, many donors are unavailable to give blood, but the needs are still there. To sign up, send an email to community@nlcc.org.

10 minute party
If you are a guest today, we want to invite you to our 10 Minute Party following each of our services this weekend. This is a great way to meet some of our staff and to find out more about how to connect here at New Life. As you exit today look for the signs directing you to our party.
What is Starting Point?
Starting Point is a conversational environment for people with questions about faith, the Bible and Christianity. Whether you're not sure about God, have recently started a relationship with God or are reconnecting with God after being away from church for a while, you will find this to be a safe place. The next session will begin July 12th and will meet for ten weeks on Sunday mornings at 10:45 am.

Missions
Would you like to make a difference in a child's life? We have two children living at our Shalom Children's home in Orissa, India who need sponsors

• The Women Of Faith Conference is coming to town on October 2nd and 3rd. Now is the time to register for “A Grand New Day 2009” with Sheila Walsh, Nicole C. • Membership Class—Have you been attending New Life and are now ready to take the next step? Join us for New Life's Membership Class on Sunday, July 26th from 4:00PM–8:00PM in the Video Café. Dinner will be provided! This class will introduce you to our church family and explain who we are and what we're about.To register, fill out a communication card, mark “Membership Class” and drop it in the offering bag. Attending this class does not obligate you to membership.

Volunteer Spotlight
Tom Mobley is a man that doesn't need a lot of compliments but really deserves them. Tom runs the video camera capturing our weekend worship services from beginning to end for the purpose of projecting live to our Video Cafe as well as the production of message DVDs. Tom is a person that is very dependable and adds so much to the Technology team. Next time you see Tom make sure to thank him for making New LIfe such a cool place!
Volunteer Opportunities
We are in need of some volunteers to help prepare and serve food for the women's and family Overflow shelter on Wednesday, July 22nd. We will be preparing the food at 3:00 pm at New Life, and serving at the shelter at 5:30 pm. If you are able to help, please contact Tiffany Hill at 623.936.9633.
